I am not one to read a book about dragons, or the navy, or one that uses quite a bit of formal English language. So the fact that I am enjoying Naomi Novik's His Majesty's Dragon as much as I am is a testament to her writing. The characters are believable in their temperaments and actions, the emotions translate perfectly from page to gut, and I'm so enamoured with Temeraire and Laurence that I'm having a hard time putting the book down (so that I can do things like sleep, and work, and shower).

Excuse me while I do some chores so that I don't feel too guilty about reading this book all night. :)

One of the girls at work has lent me a USB cord that fits in my phone, so this weekend I will be making ringtones and hacking some of my settings (for instance, I know it is possible to make it say something other than 'Telus' on the outer screen when the phone is open. something about editing a gif?). I HOPE I DON'T BREAK IT. D:
