I ordered sushi last week, too, and learned a very valuable lesson about specifying between sushi and sashimi. Also you should know that I was able to order things I knew I would like, since I had eaten them before, and EVERYTHING WAS GOOD SO I DID IT AGAIN. But ordered less, because it is just me eating it. Except I should have ordered more. BUT! I got candy from Sugar Mountain, so I won't starve. :D
Slurpee? DUDE. I WAS RIGHT. THERE. ACROSS THE STREET. GETTING MY FOOD.
I went out for it last week and the week before, and somehow managed to order the wrong tuna dish. And then did not like it and could not eat it. And I felt bad, and it was my fault, so I didn't say anything. And then I was leaving, and the sushi chef came by and said "omg, what was wrong?" and I apologized and said it was my fault and he said "sit yourself down, I'm making you the one you meant to order and you will take it home with you!"
And it was GOOOOOD. And that is why I like my place. I felt bad. But, oh, so yummy.
How is the other place? I haven't been there at all.
The other place is pretty good, they have a nice easy menu to order from (which is key, for me, because I don't know what the hell most of the stuff is). We (and by 'we' I mean 'I', as Jen had virtually no say in what I picked) ordered a ton of food last time and I had fun figuring out what stuff was based on the descriptions in the menu. I really like their Spinach Maki but their Agedashi Tofu isn't as good as your place. I got the Assorted Tempura which, last time, consisted of vegetables, shrimp, and some sort of fish, but this time there was no fish. At least I don't think there was? Hm. I kind of scarfed it down, so possibly I just mistook it for some unidentifiable vegetable (of which there were several

my day was not bad! i was very unmotivated, though. but not much rage. maybe you got it all? even though it was your day off? :( /sends mad amounts of happy nebulous things, using powers of mental visualization.
hmmmm. i remember hbp as being pretty unremarkable - i only read it once and haven't bothered rereading. i have to say that not rereading it didn't stop me from enjoying hpdh! (i am typing hpdh as general practice as i am one of the people who is very confused lately seeing dh all the time and having it not refer to the hewlett.)
Hey, now there's an idea! I should do *that* instead. Yes yes!
Am I the only one that doesn't associate DH and Hewlett? Well, I certainly will now, after talking about it, because that is how these things go. But. I usually call him The Hew, for which there can be no confusion.
