PANTS

Jul 01, 2010 16:34

Anyone who was wandering through the main clothes room of HQ would find a rather odd sight: Belarus sitting in the middle of the room, with a pile of cargo pants on each side of him. One pair is resting inside out on his lap, and he's cutting the backs of the main pockets out of the pants. Once he finishes that, he flips the pants the right way out ( Read more... )

It was? That's a disappointment. D: littlebirdofice July 1 2010, 21:46:53 UTC
[Well, Russia is just walking by...and then spies male Belarus out from the corner of his eye. He gets that same shiver down his spine as he does when his sister is around. What could this possibly mean~? He's...a little afraid to ask, now.]

It goes WAY beyond disappointment. T_T crazyknifeboy July 1 2010, 21:53:56 UTC
[Sniff sinff. Brother sense is tingling. Halfway through cutting out a pocket his head jerks up and he takes a look around, spotting you. He immediately discards the pair, (he keeps the scissors though), and zips over to your side.]

Brother, do you need something? I would be happy to help.

Awwww. D8 *will stick to the anime, then* littlebirdofice July 1 2010, 21:58:38 UTC
[OH SHIT, it's a male version of his sister, alright! jfsdkfsj Why did he have to come here?! And the scissors in his hands.... Russia has a slightly nervous smile on his face, now.]

Ah...I do not need anything right now. Thank you for your concern. [The scissors....] ...Brother, what were you doing with the scissors a moment ago?

Yeah that's really the best course of action. Have you heard about Avatar: Legend of Korra? crazyknifeboy July 1 2010, 22:05:29 UTC
[If you run now his chase instinct will be triggered. At your question he tilts his head and glances quickly back at the piles of pants before he returns his attention to you.]

Oh, I was just making myself some pants. They don't come with knife holes, so I have to make them. [He's flipping the scissors around his index finger now. He's not trying to be threatening, he just isn't thinking about it.]

why was it horrible? besides choosing white kids to play Asian/Eskimo-like characters?

It was really bad acting, and the script was just awful. It wasn't even funny horrible, just...I feel sick horrible.

They also effed up characterizations, and kept trying to be deeper, darker and edgier, but failed on all three points. I'm not really coherent enough to give an in depth review, but here's a good one.

It's in the capslock community, but don't worry it's not all in caps.

6% on Rotten Tomatoes, dear~ I haven't seen it, but apparently the consensus is stop trying to explain everything even during the climax/stilted dialogue/coherent storyline and pacing what is that stop jumping all over the place/GDI SHYAMALAN THE ORIGINAL CARTOON HAD WHAT WE CALL A SENSE OF FUN IN IT.

...also everything was pretty dark and lol badly done 3D.

That sounds about right. crazyknifeboy July 1 2010, 22:20:29 UTC
How did it manage to even get 6%? There was absolutely nothing good about that move.

[OoC:I'm not really into the series, but it sucks that they failed at making a film of it. I know it's popular.]

What are you doing?

[He's been watching you for since the last pair of pants was altered, unsure as to why he's doing it.]

Is odd to change clothes that way, da?

ooc: I was really really into it. I went to the midnight showing in costume and everything. And I expected it to be bad, just....not Disgusting.

[He looks up and smiles.]

Hello, Vanya. I'm making holes for my knives. [He sets the pair to one side and shifts a little to stretch out one leg.] I can get at them much easier this way, see? [He reaches a hand into one of the pockets, and pulls out a small dagger.]

[OoC:I kinda felt the same about the Dragonball film- there goes the fond memories of one of my childhood sweethearts. My sympathies for paying to watch that crap though.]

I see. That makes sense.

[Nods approvingly, knowing how good it was to have weapons easily to hand.]

Is good not to be defenseless, da? Belarus should never be defenseless.

ooc: I actually vomited when the credits started rolling. Not very much, but I did vomit, and there was a significant amount of dry heaving.

[He slips the knife away, and folds his legs up again, resuming altering the pants.]

It is always nice to have knives on hand. [He finishes cutting and as he turns it inside out again he looks up at you.]

Would you like me to make you a pair or two?

[Glances up and smiles before looking back down at the pants.]

Oh, hi. It's for my knives. I keep some of them strapped to my legs, so I need a way to get at them. [Snip snip snip.]
