[England stumbles in backwards through a door, as if he was arguing with someone.]

No, Antonio, I told you, I-...! H-huh...?

[He freezes, having suddenly taken notice of his changed surroundings with an alarmed look on his face and starts fiddling nervously with the rosary he's carrying.]

Where... A-Antonio?

[He'd actually be greatful to ( Read more... )

[This may not be the face he was looking for... but Prussia seems to show up wherever he's not wanted anyway. He spots the rosary and sneers - Catholic, right? It must be his captured England.]

Antonio? Didn't I tell you not to associate with that--

[Wait... it wasn't him after all. This England was older, though still seemed to be younger than himself, Prussia delightedly noted. With all the Arthurs around here, he could make an army of them.]

...that Katholische schwein. He'll betray you in the end, kekeke.

[In the midst of the coughing, he whips his head up at the voice. It wasn't one he was all too familiar with. As his hacking finally stops, his eyes narrow in confusion, his hands still fidgiting over the rosary.]

I'm sorry, I... You are? [He takes a slight step back. The red eyes are making him nervous (as if he doesn't seem to be perpetually that already).

[Cocks his head, wondering what exactly England is afflicted with.]

London Plague? Or didn't you reach it yet?

[He doesn't mind not being recognized - after all, if gives him a chance to introduce himself.] I'm the Great Kingdom of Prussia - Europe's greatest nation! Kekekeke!

...an ally, too. So trust me when I say Spanien is no good. Heh.

Pardon...? [Oh, the cough...] Um, no, economy's not-...

[He shuts mouth abruptly, stopping himself from explaining any further. Why would this Nation want to know that, anyway. From the look of him and the sound of him, he struck England as a fighter. And Lord, he couldn't afford a battle now. Not in his state... The other claimed to be an ally, however...he couldn't take him at his word. He flinches at the mention of Spain, his eyes shifting to the side and one hand almost instictively coming up to rub his neck.] I-I'm...aware of Antonio's...darker side, I suppose. [Almost painfully, or so it seems.] So there's no need for you to go into that. [This statement is rushed, as if he wants Prussia to forget about the subject altogether.]

[ Sees England, and realizes he's one she hasn't met before, he's too young. But he seems...frightened? Can't help but walk towards him. ]

Sir? 'Re ya a'ight?

[He glances up as he stops coughing, looking at the woman Dear Lord, she needs to put more clothes on more confused than anything. Was she...speaking English...? It sounded like it but...not. And he hadn't quite caught what she'd said. He slides a couple of the rosary beads against his hand with his thumb, glancing off to the side so as to avoid her rather...indecent (in his eyes) manner of dress.]

E-er, I apologize, but...I didn't quite understand what you said...

[ Guesses what's wrong, so she zips up her jacket almost to the very top. She's still staring at you with a worried expression though, and puts a hopefully soothing hand on his back. ]

My apologies, sir. I was just asking if you're alright. [ It might've been a bit slower than what she said before, trying to keep her accent from confusing him. ]

[He pulls away as soon as her hand touches him, almost even a bit before, giving her a somewhat wary, somewhat scornful look. He doesn't answer with words, but he looks her over, eyes shifting nervously as if trying to figure her out. Who was this woman, and what did she want? I-If it was what he thought, he certainly didn't want it... And if not, then what was she trying to befriend him for? Really, though, his thoughts weren't anything personal...]

God, I should be in bed, [he says to himself, a laptop under his arm, a binder of discs in his free hand. England's expression goes from self-discontent to mild curiosity when he notices the younger nation.] You all right there, chap? You look a trifle lost.

[He looks up at the voice, his eyes widening in shock as he half-stumbles backwards, being stopped from falling only for the fact that there was a wall behind him.] Oh my Lord...! [And he probably shouldn't have said that, but he was surprised, and hopefully the Lord won't hold a grudge. H-he'll go to confession about it later. His eyes shift in thought, trying to justify... He can't really be... That man, it was just like looking in a mirror. ...This had to be a dream or something then, right...?]

[England frowns in concern at this, stopping just feet away.] Steady there, Arthur Kirkland. You haven't been here long, from the looks of it-- You're in a building called Headquarters -- and for the moment, you're someplace safe. Would you like a cup of tea?

...!! [And he knows his name...! What in the world?! He starts fidgeting with the rosary beads again, looks off down the corrior, at the floor, anywhere, anywhere but that strange all-too-familiar face. He shakes his head, murmuring.] Y-you're not me... You can't be... This, this is just a dream, I-... [His fingers fix on one of the smaller beads near the top of the rosary and he clasps it, bowing his head and mumbling softly as he tries to stop his already preoccupied mind from racing any further.] Ave Maria, gratia plena, Dominus tecum...

[hears arguing and his human name so he goes to investigate. it isn't until he comes closer and he listens that he realizes it's spoken in that accent and sure enough! There is the English dog! As much as he'd like to give you a kick, he's all but too amused by the situation and it shows.]

¿Antonio, Inglaterra? Ajaja~ You've not called me that in some time~

[Though I don't think England will be as excited as I am. He freezes at the voice, recognizing it all to well. For a moment, he isn't sure if he wants to look up or not, but he does, offering a slight smile that is little more than a cover up for how nervous he is right now. Well, and Mary was always encouraging him to try and be nice. He did try, though his hands are shaking so much the rosary seems likely to drop from his hands as he fiddles with it anxiously.]

A-Antonio. I, um... [He glances to the doorway he had just stumbled through.] I was just talking to you, or so I thought...

¿Sí? Is that so? How unfortunate for myself.

[he wonders what they could have been talking about. Elizabeth's rejection to Philip? The most recent galleon England had stolen? England's meddling in the Netherlands? Ah, what was it now?]

Ajaja, well, I am here now so speak. Go ahead! You've my permission, dog~

[Well, he certainly seems to be of a one-track mind. He flinches at the name, but says nothing to it. He's recalling what that strange woman had said to him before, about this not being where he was before. Though, judging by this Spain's clothes, he seems to be from around the same time as him. Not all that far off, anyway, so...] E-er, well, you were mentioning how...how you wanted my help fighting France.
