San blinked and looked over at the doorway. She bounced away from the wall and landed on all fours on the floor, standing up immediately. "Jim," she said, sheathing her knife. She managed a little smile and a nod. "I'm...training, right now. Maybe you can join me." She gestured, as she always did with him, and pointed back at the room.
Yes -- that would make things so much easier, because it took San a few seconds to figure out what he was trying to say.
She nodded. "Good," she said, walking to the middle of the room. She took off her fur cape and rolled it up neatly, putting it aside. "You." She pointed to the floor in front of her, waving her hand and pointing to her knife. "Stand over here. Take out your knife."

He stops. Stares.
"San?"
Walking in to stand just in the doorway, he watches as she hops about.
