Title: "Radio 039: Ask Italy - Ep.2 - Part 1"
Author: J.J.
Warning: I might have failed in portraying correctly the regions involved. If that's the case just tell me. Those were done out of love for the Italian regions, not with the intent to offend someone.
Notes: Recently I really need to draw which is why this long strip managed to have birth... It's nowhere near to the APH standards but well, I'm not Himaruya-san...
Characters: Italy Veneziano (Feliciano Vargas) & Italy Romano (Lovino Vargas) with the intrusion, idrance, help of Spain (Antonio Fernandez Carriedo), Prussia (Gilbert Beilschmidt), Valle d'Aosta (Simona Vargas), Alto Adige (Carolina Vargas), Trentino (Fabio Vargas), Sardegna (Eleonora Vargas), Sicilia (Rosalia Vargas), Calabria (Tommaso Vargas), Toscana (Dante Vargas), Campania (Antonio Vargas), Lombardia (Alberto Vargas), Liguria (Giambattista Vargas) and the SPECIAL partecipation of Carlo Sebastiano di Borbone (Carlos Sebastián de Borbón y Farnesio).
Time: 2013.
Disclaimer: "Axis Powers Hetalia" belongs to Himaruya Hidekaz.
Hey, do I own something here? Oh yes, I own the plot and a sensible heart which would surely break if you give me harsh reviews... so please be honest but nice ok? Oh and the representation of the Italian regions are mine as well
Summary: The Italies handle a radio program in which they answers to questions about themselves...

Donne Italiane (Italian Women) (1990) by Pooh

I've known you by forever,
but you're new at every step,
you're really the woman
of present Italy.
You know how to fill the scene
being sophisticated and intriguing,
but I saw you in uniform
being prepared and determined,
You have fun, you work hard,
you don't lower anymore your gaze,
you look for the man of your dreams,
but you also defend your freedom.

And I've seen you girls,
down in the south where does not rain,
to colour squares
and be sexier than elsewhere.
And the strangest jobs
you are able to invent,
to show who you are
without undress.

You know how to speak from the heart,
about policy and love.
If you remain alone,
you take your children and you know that then,
you'll make it.

How beautiful they are,
the Italian women,
brave and romantic.
On giant screens
or without make up,
delicate and very strong.

You want to have a career,
to become famous,
but I saw you at the stadium
rowdy and burning,
to fly airplanes,
to harvest in a field,
and to carry with class
even the signs of aging.

The whole world envies us for
these women land and sea,
who now know how to fly,
and fight for them,
and for us.

How beautiful they are,
the Italian women,
wild and very sweet.
Let's travel with them
for better or for worse,
we must be careful not to lose them.

Notes:

Not much to say here, this strip merely answer to the quiz the Italies made in the previous episode. Valle d'Aosta and Alto Adige had more or less the same percentage of blond people... but as Alto Adige is part of the region Trentino-Alto Adige and Trentino has less blond people (it's still a pretty blond region though), Valle D'Aosta wins. She's called by Veneziano snow princess due to her beautiful snow covered mountains. Contrary to popular belief that would think Sicilia to be the one, the darkest region is Sardegna, called Emerald jewel due to her 'Costa Smeralda' (Emerald Coast). Calabria is the second darkest region. Sicilia, who contrary to them even has a small blond percentage, is for her beauty considered another Mediterranean jewel and it's possibly the hottest place of Italy. Due to her special relation with Romano (Sicilia gave the name to the kingdom of the south and was also its capital) he calls her his queen.

On a sidenote the starts I used are a little older. I've been told brown haired people increased in number in more or less all Italy but as I don't have the new one and it's unlikely they totally changed the old percentages, I've used the oldest ones.

Answers to questions will start in the next part.
