Don't Change Your Plans

Feb 13, 2009 18:17

How many times am I going to let her cancel on me before I set her straight and tell her just how frustrating it is to:

a) not eat because you're anticipating dinner and movie munchies.
b) do a lot of laundry for the sole purpose to have something nice to wear.
c) spend more time getting ready than I have in months.
d) break other plans so that you could spend time together.

At least this isn't canceled plans because she wants to watch a new episode of The Office like last April. I'm sure there will be an attempt at trying to schedule something for the future, but I'm really not in the mood to.

Ugh. Now *both* sets of plans have been canceled, so if anybody reading this would like to hang tonight, just give me the word.

In better news, there are two things I'm going to purchase when job/car repairs become a little more stable. One is a 120GB Zune, which I picked over the iPod due to a few extras like the radio feature and the ability to wirelessly upload songs from my computer. The other item is an Omnichord, which I'd wanted since a friend got one, and I'm realizing after experiencing his that it's something I'd have a lot of fun with. I'll gladly sell a few of my keyboards collecting dust for a used Omnichord.

For an excellent example of the one I want, check out this YouTube clip of one in action. Apologies for the lack of embedded code. I've for some reason never been able to get the hang of posting those here.
