if sleep were a destination, then i've been on the road towards it for 39480193480195771340 hours.
models. i remember skinny models and fitting them with things i had made in an almost zombie-like state. walking in the rain. missing danny and kirin. eating red velvet cake. burn-out with a side of overdue schoolwork. beer & pizza with whitey; realization that everyone surrounding me either has an office job or is currently studying towards one.
new things learned while sewing non-stop for the past 72 hours: basting paper-thin almost non-existent fabric before machine-stitching is lingerie's BFF. zig-zag stitching elastic to non-elastic things instantly makes them ELASTIC! coated 4-way stretch vinyl is fun to wear BUT NOT FUN TO CUT & FIT. Dave Attell (notably "Skanks for the Memories") is the best audio accompaniment for any sewing task, if not the ultimate detriment to getting stuff done on account of laughing your brains out.

it's half past three in the morning, and i have three 11 X 17 graphite drawings due at nine. seeing that i've spent more time deliberating on what asinine things to type here, as opposed to drawing something that will appreciably affect my future as an adult, i'd say i got TONS done!
the only nice surprise as of late: waking up confused and disoriented, wondering where i was-- even thinking at one point i had a huge hairy tumor, only later settling into the reality that everything is relatively fine and it's just a cat asleep on my chest.
