Beijing I. The Great Wall
As famous Mr. Mao Zedong said: "Only the one who climbed to the Great Wall can be called a man". Actually, getting the right be called "a man" was the one and only reason why I decided to kill a whole day for such an exhausting trip. The Wall is really splendid but hordes of people all around and terrible heat spoil the impression. Moreover, like most historical sites in China, the Wall looks suspiciously new. It is not clear which parts are really ancient ones and which were added during the renovation. Anyway, you have a right to call me "a man" now…
