I've been out in the garden, playing with the new close-up lenses. This is the first image I was happy with. The trick is in the focusing. The easiest way of doing that is to set the camera on "macro" and go very close. 10cm or so is usually fine. With 10x magnification, that usually fills the frame.

I left all the imperfections on the flower so that the true sharpness can be seen. Normally I'd photoshop out any smuts.
