At this time of year, you see a lot of ads on TV for these sorts of things, which are supposedly 'just what Mum will love' on Mother's Day:

* the latest Michael Buble CD
* DVDs of modern classics such as When Harry Met Sally or Sleepless In Seattle
* music DVDs like Pavarotti's last concert
* books by authors such as Marian Keyes, Janet Evanovich or that other chick lit woman.

My Mum would HATE
all of those.

And that's why I love her.
