Butterfly was more than ready for this expedition, trailing along in the middle. He couldn't say he enjoyed the quality of air outside...but it seemed even worse than when Sasuke and he had gone exploring outside...there was just something about it that made the hairs on the back of his neck rise.

"Sure hope we can find some things." Not that they would be able to carry back enough for everyone between the three of them...but it was a start, at least, and if they could find hope of something, then others could go out and get their own after.

"The leg stretching will be good...if not the air itself." he added dryly, shooting Naoto a small smile before glancing away, carefully taking in what they were passing, even pausing to glance back at the apartments.

"they look worse in the daylight. Didn't think that was even possible."

She would look so cute with a ribbon! And a dress with some lace all around the bottom too. Granted, Naoto was a little old for the type of girls he found to be adorable, but she would still look just like a doll. He couldn’t help it if he liked those kinds of things. Even if it made him weird.

“It’s better than looking at those dingy walls all day.” Nevermind that he’s blind and coming from him, that probably made no sense at all. Of course, he could just imagine how ugly the walls were and maybe he was just saying that for their benefit.

The priest walked with the other two, his cane lightly tapping the ground as he stepped. Despite his lack of sight, he didn’t even use the can as a blind person. There was no sweeping of the ground, just a casual lift and placement in time with his steps.

She was a little old because she was legal.

"It's true." Naoto didn't clarify which statement she was agreeing with, the one about the apartments or the dingy walls. Probably both. Her eyes had been drawn to a woman on the corner. At least she had been a woman. The front of her white gown was stained with too much blood for her to be alive.

"Let's hurry. Can you keep up?" She started moving a little faster, glancing between her companions and the woman. She was gone now, and Naoto was a little anxious about when and where she would appear again...and if others would appear with her. Her katana was out of its case and carried in her hand, but she knew the blade would do little good. "The building that I saw was in this direction, I'm sure of it." Naoto held her breath when they turned the corner and exhaled only when she saw that their path wasn't blocked.

So far, so good.

"I can." he answered, not sure if she were speaking to him or the priest. His own weapon wasn't a sword; but he held onto that tape in his pocket, and he'd managed to find...a crowbar.

It was stuffed into the side of his overalls, and it would suffice for the time being.

"Well...it doesn't look like this town is too big...we should be able to find it relatively soon." That was an attempt at optimism, at least. He wasn't sure about his companions, he didn't know either of them really...but he was willing to trust that between the three of them they would be able to find something.

“I will do my best.” To keep up with the younger pair. The movement of spirits was definitely enough to put a person on edge, but Bishop thought it best to continue on as if nothing had occurred. Maybe that woman would not be seen again. Maybe she would. One could not say for certain, but they had places to go regardless.
