A response to Xena/Ares Shipper Fanfic Challenge #1 at the Xena Online Community.  Takes place after 3x10 "The Quill is Mightier."  This was originally going to be a one-shot that I expanded after some requests for a sequel.  Chapter 1 is pretty tame, so there's no rating warning, but Chapter 2 will be rated M.
