Saturday Slump

I am beyond saddened by this. Eva was so full of life despite the incredible suffering and long odds, and I had hoped against hope she would get a last-minute miracle. It's amazing how many people she touched; even though I only heard about her a few months ago and never interacted with her personally, I still feel a great loss. There has been ( Read more... )

I hadn't heard about 65redroses before, but browsed the last couple of pages just now from you link, and that is so sad (and her grace and eloquence under the circumstances are amazing).

It's definitely delicious and quite easy to make; might be a fun kitchen project with the rodents if you ever need a rainy-day activity or something.

My dad was in a surprisingly chatty mood when I rang him yesterday, so that was nice - especially since, when he's talking, there's no communication problems related to his hearing loss!
