YAY!
Got a call from our insurance case manager at CHOP (Children's Hosp of Philly) at 5:10p this evening: our insurance has approved the top-notch hormone blocker they want Two to have. YAY! Last I heard, about 10 days ago, the first attempt had failed; we were warned this might happen, so I wasn't too concerned, but since I hadn't heard anything since then, I was starting to wonder what the situation was, whether we might have to step down to the mid-level blocker. And now I know - all clear! Two was doing a Snoopy dance before I was even off the phone. More hilariously, the program coordinator texted me immediately afterward, doing an emoji-based Snoopy dance. :D
Because it was so late in the day on a Friday when we were notified, I have to wait until Monday to call and schedule the actual insertion. Hopefully it won't be too long a wait for that.
