There's no place like home, alone

My company is all gone. My friends back to Edmonton, my sister back to Winnipeg. Its been a busy couple of weeks, but I have enjoyed every minute of it. The lake was wonderful this weekend. Sunday was so nice that we took out the boat and went swimming/lake bath at Sandy Beach. Not that you could call it a beach right now. There's about 2 feet of sand where there is usually 6-8. I made friends with a duck! Every time I went to the dock to read or whatever, this duck would come out from his resting spot to come and see me. I fed him bread. I got video of it...he's cute!! Yes, I always forget how much I love the cabin until I get there and have to leave. Saying goodbye to my friends really sucked. It felt like they were only here for a few days. *sigh* I miss them already. BUT, my house is back to being my house again. No more sharing a bed with the hubby..YEAH!!!!!!!
I think I am going to go and see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with the hubby and my sister tonite, and tomorrow I am going to see a magician...Busy Busy Busy.
