Wow, a very very busy week that still won't end. I had a old friend that I hadn't seen since we graduated in 1997 together come over for coffee. He hasn't changed. I'm really happy that after all these years he decided to call. Hopefully this is a beginning to rekindling our friendship, even if its only through email. Had a nice BBQ with the family last nite. The hubby brought one of his clients over for cake after our supper was done, so it was nice that he didn't miss everything because of work. My company and the hubby and I are heading out to the cabin this weekend. Though its rainy and yukky out there, I think that we will have a really great time, and I can't wait to take my bath in the lake. Gotta do that once a year! It really does make my hair feel nice. Having a big group supper tonite also, then our friends can see everyone all at once, except of course, my hubby who is working again. *shrugs shoulders* Other then that, I have been consumed with work and visiting, as the visit ends Monday. *sigh* I DON'T WANT THEM TO GO!!!! I'm keeping in mind that the hubby and I are looking at heading west in October after his buddies wedding, hitting Edmonton to see the company that is here now, Whitecourt to see our God-Children (since we haven't seen them for 2 years), and then, maybe, just maybe, I'll have time to get to Leth to see my girlfriend, then back to Winnipeg for a quick visit there, and home again.
My old roomie came to see me yesterday. *guilty look* I had kinda decided that I wasn't gonna say anything to her since I realized that she was on a different rent situation then the other old roomie was, so therefore it wasn't fair to ask. She came in with $160, and I tried not to accept, but her thought was that she kept her fishtank running 24hr/7 days a week while she lived with us, so I accepted $100, still with a bit of guilt, but, she reasoned with me. So at least thats (sort of) out of my mind. Anyhoo, I should get to work, I wish I was still in bed!
