Today is a glorious day. I beat Final Fantasy XIII’s story plot after 76 hours of getting pissed off and shutting it off for months at a time. But, last night I turned it on and decided to go for it, since I was all the way up in Orhpan’s Cradle and all. Needless to say I got my ass handed to me last night (which I’m going to blame on the fact that I was tired - seems like a logical excuse, no?). Anyways today I turned it back on and took down Barthandelus before he had the chance to cast doom (so before hitting 20 minutes of fighting him) and then went straight on to Orphan’s first form.
The overall battle didn’t go on for too long though I did have to switch to combat clinic a bajillion times. D< But, once I beat him in the first try and got to move onto his second form I was totally sweating bullets - I mean his first form was hard enough so I was totally freaking out about his second one… But it turned out to be one of the easiest fights ever. I had Fang, Lightning, and Hope and used tireless charge (Rav, Rav, Rav) - staggered him once and killed him while he was still in his stagger. >D
Now, I just have to decide if I want to take the time to finish getting all the trophies. I only have like 46 percent and three of the character PS3 Themes unlocked. Or… do I want to work on another game? I’m not sure yet.
Either way… I might just play it on and off while doing other games too because as soon as I beat it I felt this big void while I asked the question “Now what?” to myself.
That said, today itself was a pretty basic day. Dad’s off for vacation the entire week so he’s pretty much planning my days for me which normally consist of doing some kind of hard outdoor labor or fixing things up inside. So either way it sucks for me - then I’m also doing job applications and stuff to. So far I haven’t heard anything back from the places I’ve applied at three days ago so once I get a week and don’t hear anything I’ll do a few more.
