and that takes away any catharsis I could feel in the moment and just ends up being a reminder that I don't really want or need.
EXACTLY. I had no idea this episode would be such a Finn tribute and it made me really upset.
Hi Tina thank you for breaking up the scene that makes no sense.
I was really hoping he'd be giving the SAME pep talk to all of them! But alas, no.
I honestly thought they were going to hug and I got excited and then Jake like went to put a shirt on nO.
Sooo disappointing. (And it felt like they were wrapping up all of the 'newbies' plots as fast as possible this week, so is that the last scene we'll ever get between the two of them? )
why are they staring out the bus windows yeah you're really helping there guys.
And who is the extra guy ??? (I count "Glee" kids. They had 3 extra girls on stage, so for once there were more girls than guys!)
I know the boots were necessary for the military-robot costumes, but they look ridiculous with the dresses.
I totally agree! It looked so wrong it kept throwing me out of enjoying the moment!
Definitely not as good as Bohemian Rhapsody though. Nothing will top that.
that's what I was thinking too. The coreography is just...so 'meh' these days (and ND was even worse).
So. Much. Blina.
I'm actually really glad they gave Tina the lead on this instead of Marley. If it weren't a 'farewell to the originals(Tina) (presumably)', then I think Marley would've had it.
THEY ALL LOOK SO YOUNG
I know!!! (And did they cut Matt out of the shot or was he not there?!)
As far as the newbies go, i don't think they're getting much focus in the next couple of episodes so...yeah, they're probably not going to interact one-on-one anymore, which is kind of sad.
I know they got new choreographers this year (and their original choreographer quit to go work on other projects) which might explain why most of their numbers are 'run around without any choreography whatsoever' but when it comes to competitions it's disappointing.
I was okay with Tina getting the lead, but she and Blaine seemingly couldn't stand up without holding onto each other for the whole performance so that was more what my comment was about!
Matt wasn't there; that was the week he had a spider in his ear and had to spend it in the hospital so he was never part of their ballad competition xP
