So I was ready to quit this show on Thursday.
I was.
And then this happened. Great acting. Solid storylines. Good pacing. Tugged at the heartstrings like crazy. NO WILL. And while I may not completely agree with the theme of the episode, I think it was presented in a very non-objectionable way and very positively.
That being said, I loved it. Definitely felt like old!Glee to me and I'm seriously so happy right now. It's late though so I'll do a picspam tomorrow, just basic thoughts tonight!!
-First of all, big congratulations to Chris, Cory, Lea and Jane on their PCA nominations!!! Even though my boys are in the same category so HOW CAN ONE PICK???
-So yeah, I'm not big on the whole 'we must lose our virginity in high school!' thing, because honestly nobody in the drama/choir/band group at my high school did, but at the same time...as far as we saw, it was clothed cuddling. So who knows what they did, and I rather like that they leave it completely up to interpretation (that being said, I truly don't think the boys at least went all the way. Too much about it just...doesn't say so to me).
-I liked the Beiste/Cooter storyline. They were very cute and I'm glad she's found somebody that appreciates her exactly how she is.
-I love the Warblers. Freaking Curt Mega, ladies and gentlemen.
-I love Sebastian. Seriously. He's so suave and I've labeled him as this Santana/Jesse hybrid and it's great :)
-The whole gay bar thing was my favourite part of the episode. I ship Kurt/Karofsky friendship like burning and I love happy!Dave. I hope he comes back.
-I loved the car scene, even though they tamed it down a lot from the original filming, or at least the tweets they announced on that night!! But it was great and, well, Cory's favourite scene of the episode, so yeah ;)
-Cory and Chris are flawless. The entire episode. Both of them. This show would not function without them, and I love that it focused more on the Finchel and Klaine storylines and the characters that were meant to be in the background were in the background.
-America was amazing. Rory's line had me cackling. Santana and Puck were flawless.
-Puck/Finn bromance ftw.
-You can legally kiss your brother in Kentucky. Or Kurt anywhere, because he's not your real brother, Finny xP
-KURT AND FINN LIVE IN A FREAKING AWESOME AND GIANT HOUSE.
-I still dislike Rachel. I mean, I didn't hate the Finchel overall, but I mostly watched Cory. She's just so...the things she does to him, and he was so *hurt*. Baby.
-CORY MONTEITH, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN. FLAWLESS, FLAWLESS I WAS TEARING UP HE IS FLAWLESS.
-Mike's storyline with his father was just...ugh, heartstrings.
-I liked Artie. I mean, he's still on my hitlist because of what he did to Kurt, but he was nice and reminded me a lot of S1 Artie in here.
-Tina's story was very sweet, despite being about the whole 'yay sex!' thing again.
-Klaine were very cute. But I need more angst between them *is evil*. I'm glad they got a couple of kisses, but still nowhere near the number Finchel got.
-Finn saying 'mom' and then 'Carole' confused me.
-NO WILL!!! Yes, I'm rather happy about this. And Mercedes was like non-existent. She had like one shot beside her giant of a boyfriend. And that was it.
-...I think that's it. That's a lot of thought-spewage!!!
