Well excuuuuuuuuuuuse me, Princess! Persona 1 and Plot bunnies.
...My god I feel old. Me and my friends last night ending up Marathoning the old Legend of Zelda cartoons from the late 80s/early 90s last night, while making cookies, eating pizza and playing board games. It was indeed awesome.
It was also kinda funny, watching that stuff again; technically, the cartoon is actually kinda decently done. Especially in the movement department; they had both Zelda and Link move rather fluidly, doing flips and jumps and backflips; more then you see in some cartoons from the same era for sure.
Also, my god, Zelda could go between being a weeping "oh save me Link!" princess to total badass in the matter of one scene change. In one episode, she's screaming cause some ghoul is carrying her off, but she can't get away because otherwise she'd fall into the mud they're going through and get her dress all dirty.
In the other? She's saving a chick from a three headed dragon with nothing but a basket of fruit. Seriously. She's usually presented as just as capable as Link in the cartoon, which is pretty interesting, since in the games she wasn't like that till Ocarina of time.
And my god, the UST between Zelda and Link is hilarious. I almost kinda think they're actually already doing stuff privately, off screen, and the "KISS ME PRINCESS" "EW YUCK NO YOU'RE COVERED IN MUD" is some sort of weird kinky game they play to build up for their play.
AM I RUINING YOUR CHILDHOOD YET? Also the Missing Link is my favorite episode, I think.
Also, on the way home, we all decided what Arcana we'd be from Persona. I got the Priestess :V

Oh man. I love this game. I seriously, honestly do. I didn't like the characters too much at first; but my god they've grown on me. Elly especially; She's one of my favorite Persona females, if not my absolute favorite. Her elegance is counterbalanced by her absolute GEEKERY about the occult, mythology and general weird shit, plus she actually sheds more light on the mythology behind the series, which is nice to see.
Plus her crush on the MC is OH MY GOD, SO CUTE. Especially how slowly it's built up over the course of the game. She actually doesn't realise her feelings at first, but it's just so well done <3 It makes me kinda wonder why they weren't able to do this with Persona 3 as much-- no offence, MC/Yukari fans, but it just felt like it was too forced, or unnatural. Elly/MC is my otp for sure.
I also like Brown, as stupid/cocky as he is. He kinda reminds me of the same type as Junpei and Yosuke, but only just. It's mostly the 'cocky/joking attitude to hide inner insecurity" that makes it come off as him. Mark also kinda shares this, but...

For some reason I just don't like Mark. His range for his weapon is shit, same with his gun. His attitude towards his mom is annoying, and just... ARGH. I don't know. It might also be his character design, especially his tuque--- I seem to have a severe dislike of tuques on characters. I've got a few dojinshi's with Mark WITHOUT the damn tuque, and I find him much more appealing. I do find his crush on Maki adorable though, and ship it as well.
And oh god, Nanjo. Nanjo, you pompous, intelligent, asshole of a teen. He is so awesome. Though for some reason I can't shake the idea that he and Miles Edgeworth from AA would totally be BFF, much like Larry and Junpei would be. Only, less hitting on girls and more games of chess while drinking tea. His whole thing with Yamaoka just made me bawl ;A; And his abilities when talking to demons are hilarious XD Especially his 'Sarcasm' one.
Yukino is also awesome. Her gun is kinda shit, but damn, her regular attack has a nice reach, and her persona usually learn awesome attacks too. Plus she's just... awesome TOUGH <3 She's a girl, she cares SO MUCH about the rest of the team but can completely wipe the curb with your face. Her and Kanji might get along well, actually.
... Actually, I thought a while ago that female!Kanji would probably take after Yukino, so that's a drawing idea to think about. Actually this game has given me ALOT of drawing ideas. Like a picture of all the January guys, including Junpei, Brown and Kanji, or all the Magicians, which is Junpei, Yosuke and Ayase.
Speaking of Ayase, her, Reiji and Maki... ah. No real opinion of them. Ayase is kinda annoying but I can see why she does it (though her abuse of Toro makes me D< ) and Reiji is ...way too 'loner' proto-Shinjiro without the guilt. I hear he warms up at the end, but his fighting style just doesn't fit with me, and his persona limits are kinda annoying, to say the least. Maki is storywise important, and I do like her alot... well, so far in the story she seems too 'perfect', though I'm getting close to the point where we address that...
Also, I love how Persona 1 connects to Shin Megami Tensei: If... For those of you who don't know, SMT: if... is side story from the original SMT game. It deals with the MC, a Girl named Tamaki who finds her school sucked into the Demon world by a guy who claims himself an "Emperor", and has to find a way out. This Lets play covers it for the most part, and is a good read too, especially cause there's no english patch for a rom yet. It actually could be considering the 'proto' Persona, in a way; they have a mechanic in there that's similar to the concept of a Persona, but still involve the SMT version of getting Demons to fight with you. Tamaki actually shows up in Persona 1, having transferred to your characters school. The small reference she has about recognizing the demons is a really nice touch. So basically SMT ---> SMT: If... ---> Persona 1 is how it goes.
Actually, I'll talk about my opinions of the Snow Queen Quest later, I've probably chatted your ears off about the characters in this game already. BD;
Though, also, I NEED OPINIONS ON FIC WRITING. I've got like twenty million plot bunnies jumping around in here, I swear to god. But I'm stumped on which to start/finish first. D| Not to mention pictures to draw.
Alright, here's a list, if only to keep it to myself. Mind you, some of these fics will end up...well, smutty in nature.

Larry/Maya -- (Ace Attorney) few ideas floating around my head about them, and two fics started. Need to finish one of them atleast.
Junpei/Fuuka -- Cute fluff smut, idea for when they're in Tatarus, waiting around while Minato and his ladies go exploring Tartarus, post Chidori though.
Junpei/Mitsuru -- I've had this idea for AGES about how it could work, and it WON'T LEAVE ME ALONE D| smutty in nature for sure.
Junpei/FeMC -- basically works things out towards the end for FeMC/Junpei to work, though this also might be me venting my frustration at the platonic Junpei link (Why, Atlus, why would you give us Shota but not legal Junpei sob ) though I wouldn't feel comfortable with this one till I played P3P
Naoto/Kanji -- Cute fluff fic, likely to be non-smutty for once. Involves Kanji's sewing skills though.
Elly/MC (who I call Jihei) --- Also random fluff, I JUST THINK THEY'RE CUTE OKAY D;
I have no idea which one to finish/start, though leaning towards the Junpei/Fuuka and Larry/Maya ones.
Also have some pictures ideas, but since I'm working tomorrow, drawing shouldn't be too much of a problem. If you guys want me to do a picture dump or something soon, lemme know, okay?
