Ohara Sakurako
Ohara Sakurako [大原櫻子]
She is a Japanese actress and singer. She is born in Tokyo, 10 January 1996.
She is known by her role in The Liar and His Lover or Kanojo wa Uso o Aishisugiteru as Ueda Riko. That is her first movie and become lead role after win the audition against 5000 participant. Eventhough that is her first movie, her act was great. Because this movie related to music so she has to sing in this movie. All the movie soundtrack is really good and ear catching, also Ohara has a soothing voice that make the song even better.
In The Liar and His Lover promotion, she also promote as a band called Mush & Co. The band is consist of Ryo Yoshizawa in guitar, Yuki Morinaga in drum and Ohara Sakurako in charge of vocalist and guitar. After the promotion ended, she came out as a solo singer. When she sing, she always play her guitar live whereas she just learn to play guitar when she took role as Riko. She is so talented and I really love all of her song <3
In her biography on wiki japan, it mentioned that Ohara want to singing and acting because she watch drama musical "Annie" in second grade and she thought that if you singing you will feel comfortable and freely. Actress that she admired is Dakota Fanning because she saw Dakota movie in elementary school and she become amazed by Dakota performance eventhough she and Dakota difference in age just 2 years apart.
She learn classical music from childhood and do the voice training from high school. Her hobbies are dance, piano, ballet, sing, swimming and do impersonation. She is daughter of Naooya Hayashida, an actor and narrator in Japan.
Before she known in The Liar and His Lover, she took a role in drama Koukou Nyushi as one of student in ep 8 and 10.
She is a cute and humble person. Because of her height, she is often perform in television using high heels. When she act alongside Sato Takeru, she always feel amazed when she saw Takeru because she feels like he is a person on TV.
I looking forward her next project because she is so good in acting and singing :D
