"Should've Gotten His Name"
Heroes/SPN Crossover Madness.
Sam/Claire - duh, would you expect anything less from me?
There's no sex, but Claire has an active imagination.
Inspired by a fic (by
callmegolightly, who wrote this from Sam's POV. Naturally I had to get Claire's two cents in.)
Fucking with timelines like a boss 'cause that's how I roll. Heroes post-canon + SPN S1 = this awesome little mashup.
Will there be more? I dunno, maybe?
I own nothing, I'm just borrowing these lovely characters and playing with them for a bit, so please don't sue me. However these words belong to me, so please don't steal them.
Want more? Want to throw e-tomatoes? Leave me a comment. Constructive criticism and praise are equally welcomed.
Claire had lost track of how long she'd been on the road, all she knew was that she was tired of driving and needed to find a place to stay. Leaving DC had been one of the best decisions she'd made as of late. Leaving Gretchen, who had proved to be just as clingy and creepy as a girlfriend as she had as a roommate, was easing the stress that had been consuming her with every mile that passed..
Things kept escalating until Claire couldn't take it anymore, and one night she just got in her car and drove off, neither knowing nor caring where she was going, only knowing that she needed to get away.
That brought her to where she was now, pulling into this little side-of-the-road motel. It was well into the day by now, but Claire didn't care, she just wanted to get a room and take a break from driving. She'd checked in and was making her way to the room she'd been assigned when she couldn't shake the feeling that someone was staring at her. She turned to look, and caught sight of what had to be the most adorable guy she'd ever seen, standing in front of a really nice car. The car was nice but this guy, whoever he was, caught her attention and when she finally caught on that he'd been the one staring at her, lifted a hand to wave, putting on a friendly smile.
He was tall, at least a foot taller than her if not more, with longish hair that framed his face. Claire was quite sure no matter how long she lived she'd never forget that face, it was kind and handsome with warm eyes and a smile that set her heart racing. She grinned more widely when he waved back, taking a second to look him over. He was broad-shouldered with long limbs and he seemed pretty well built. Even standing there in the parking lot Claire couldn't help but wonder how nice would be to curl up against him, safe and warm.
Realizing that they'd been staring at one another for much longer than would be considered normal, Claire gave a little nod as though to say 'see you later,' and headed off on her way once again.
As soon as she got to her room she cursed herself for not saying anything. It had been awhile since she'd been involved with guys because of Gretchen, so Claire chalked it up to just being rusty when it came to men. She promised herself that she'd look for him again later, if only to say hello and maybe get his name. Yeah, his name; she wanted to put a name to that face that she'd never forget.
