I have an image-heavy book recommendation for you. (Post links to my journal.)

Isn't this the most beautiful book?

It is! Absolutely huge and way too heavy, but it's exactly what I was looking for - so wonderful! :)

I loved the book at first sight, but it took a while to be bought; not so much because of money, but because of the sheer volume and size. Still, the drawings and paintings are there to be savoured and regarded again and again. It's perfect to lie on a side table, so that it is handy for browsing. ;D

Well, the size and weight didn't hold me back... since I didn't have a clue how big it would be. ;) Just didn't read the amazon item info carefully enough.
But you're right, it's the perfect thing to have on a side table for short AoS-filled break from work! :)

You need at space for a two-and-a-half foot high tome... but it's worth it. Every penny of the price, and shuffling books around on shelves.

I've only ever come across a book of this beauty in the library, plastered all over with those 'For reference use only' stickers.

Oh yes, I agree! It's beautiful, and provides material for endless staring and dreaming... not to mention inspiration! :)

And you're very lucky if your library has wonderful books like that on display!
