[book rec] Sam Willis, "Fighting Ships, 1750-1850"

I just joined here because I noticed that none of my other groups were really the right place for this kind of squee! :)
I have an image-heavy book recommendation for you. (Post links to my journal.)
A few weeks ago, I ordered "Fighting Ships 1750 - 1850" by Sam Willis. It said that delivery could take a couple of weeks, so I thought it might arrive on time for the end of my exams ~ and I decided I had earned myself a treat.
As always when you try to plan something like that, Amazon surprises you and ships your order the next day or so...
