(no subject)
A question was raised by someone (I can't remember who) a little while ago about when Jack actually took command of the Sophie. I'm assuming it was someone on here. Just worked it out when I was reading Chapter 2. The log entries that Jack read indicated that Lt Baldick (nearly typed Baldrick there) was appointed to the Pallas on 18 April 1800, I assume the day Capt Allan transferred as well. Jack would have read himself in the following day I assume.
