6+ years and two surgeries on me, and my attempting but failing to maintain the front and back yards, Wing has finally agreed to get a gardener to come out, clear out the weeds, and then maintain it once a month ( Read more... )

Took my brand new weed trimmer and assaulted the overgrown weeds. Two battery recharges, three rounds and one blade change. Solar lawn lights are visible now and finally getting recharged. My hands and lower arms are sore from the vibrations of the trimmer, but a good friend suggested I get foam lined gloves to help mitigate it ( Read more... )

Just got back in from sweeping up a bunch of muddy rotting leaves. They had previously been fermenting and clogging the gutters. I asked Alan if he could clear them. I should have been a bit clearer and said "Clear them into the bucket and empty it elsewere ( Read more... )

Since I got whatever this bug is/was. Appetite/digestion still screwy. Eat so little, and feel as if I have gorged. Still get tired out easily. Doesn't help that Loki seems to be getting me up too damned early. He started in on my around before sun up. I put him off until about 7. Luckily for me, I went to bed sort of early ( Read more... )

Mark did one helluva great job.

Putting the extra limestone blocks to good use, raising my herb pots/planters to an easier to manage level. Also gives a place to sit down outside.
