Moved my potted plants into the shade of the pergola. Already have my thyme plants indoors, as last year, in almost identical weather, my thyme plant got scorched to the point it couldn't recover

Dayam, who set the humidity so damned high? I actually have the AC on, set to dehumidify. Feels like I could wring water out of my clothes! I did try using small fan, but that didn't do a thing.
Not necessarily. It's (as Aikidomayland would say) Stinkin' Hot" today. Two trips to the pool worked to cool me off, but I have to come back inside sooner or later

They are the perfect way to handle the heat. Stretching out on the stone floors. They have also found where the ac vents/breeze come together and lay down right in that vortex of cool air.
Was a hair below 40c today. It was so hot that the jeans on the clothes line outside dried in under 90 minutes. Poor Loki and Keito... they were fur puddles on the stone floor. Kind of funny seeing two cats imitating throwrugs.
Two loads of laundry washed and hung out on the line. Slayed many cobwebs. Got more acquainted with camera. Feels a bit awkward, but am sure I will get familiar quick enough. Took several test shots, experimenting with ISO speeds and other nifty settings.
