I really appreciated the concern and care in the email.

Rest assured that I am not wearing a metal frame brace from my knee to my ankle. Nor is it a permanent fixture To set your mind at rest here ya go...

and I can feel it. Problem is I waited and waited, ad infinitum almost, waiting for aikidomayland and my son to lend a hand or do do some of the chores. It took me a day to clean the bedroom (this includes washing clothes, folding etc etc, vacuuming, getting rid of garbage and putting things away). I managed to take 8 steps while standing on my toes! And my left heel didn't come slamming down onto the floor!! Itty bitty steps, but I DID IT!!

Now, all that is left to do (no pun) is to be able to lift onto the toes of my left foot while standing on that one foot!! ecstatic
