Giving myself a 'day off', just chilling and relaxing. Woke up late, 8-sh, and for me that is late. Furry God Keito decided he had been patient enough about visiting the sand.
Eyes are much better. Just slight wincing/cringing at bright lights, and a bit of itching. The 'blur' is pretty much gone, just have to make sure I wear my reading glasses when working on the computer, or when I am *gasp* reading. Such is life.
Side effect of visiting the outlaws yesterday. Not being insulting, just truthful here. They are short. Very short, and twisting my head and looking down at them to my left for the better part of two hours gave me a real pain in the neck. I tried for keep myself in clear line of sight, but no such luck.
I, their unlettered un PhD'd, unsuitable wife of their son set up the dvd recorder for them. I was so nice, (yes,
shadoutcarver, the southern belle, steel magnolia nice) without being the slightest bit phony about it. They looked a bit bemused at my attitude. I gave them a cheery g'bye on the way out.
aikidomayland and I are planning to attend an SCA archery shoot. I have to make a new chemise, basically a longsleeved T tunic with the cuffs dagged or gathered closed.
Feeling a bit 'cabin fevered' due to eyes problem. Shall solve that on Friday when we have the big birthday bash for
_meegan_. Daggles and I have planned it, and now all we have to do is play.
_meegan_ let slip she never had a Barbie doll when she was growing up, just the knock off version called Cindy. So three guesses what the theme to her birthday party is? *cackle* She should have known better, as
aikidomayland made offhand comment about his upcoming birthday, and I ran with that comment as a theme. Every one who attended had a blast.
Used a bit of my sandalwood perfume oil... it is so relaxing and rejuvenating at the same time. I guess I have babbled long enough.
