Yes, I did go to the doctor, who said he couldn't see a thing, not even on the x-ray, so basically although everything seems alright, he gave me sickleave till Friday and prescribed me physical therapy as well as painkillers.
Right now, I feel fairly close to fine - not unable to work at all. Of course, he said I absolutely shouldn't ride a bike 'til the end of the week, and there is no way around that if I work, as I have to commute between two schools and do not own a car. Also, I don't really believe in 'let's throw in some pills and keep on working'. Still, I have to cancel my part in tomorrow night's semester concert, which involves letting down two groups of motivated ten-year-olds, and I really mind that. I asked whether I could come for the concert, have someone drive me, perhaps - but that's forbidden: If you're ill, you're ill. Hmph. Maybe I shouldn't have taken that painkiller, then I'd KNOW I shouldn't be working right now.
Then again, suffering just to keep up the morals is crap. Therefore, I write. I finished one of the two Eskapismus chapters I was working on, and now I'll dig into the other one.
