Not enjoying searching for jobs.
There are mutliple reasons, one being companies that try to get your intrested by using a bit of a misleading job title, one example I've seen applies to big box retailers where they using a misleading job title to say the job is working on the sales floor. Which leaves a bad taste in my mouth and leaves me not liking that they just wasted my time to say in a rather round-about fashion that the job is sales floor duties. Quit trying to dress it up.
Also findind so many jobs that don't appeal to me, some of that is not wanting to work in particular industries, not liking some of the duties (right now that's anything that has to do with answering the phone and nothing sales-related), or things that would require developing a different set of skills such as any sort of mechanical job.
Not a big fan of really poorly formatted job listings either. Some of the worst all written as a single run-on paragraph. It's worse when you can tell that paragraph should have been a list and somewhere along the way the formatting was lost and the person posting on behalf of the company didn't notice or care to fix it. Or those written in all bold. I'm starting to get tired of the ones that start with three big paragraphs about the company. If I wanted to know about the company I'd research them. Give me a link if you must that I can read those three paragraphs at should I choose and start telling me about the job instead.
I've also seen some that list the "requirements" and in fact aren't listing requirements but are listing the job responsibilities. Which is disappointing.
Loads of health care openings in pariticular that I'm not qualified for. Various types of engineering positions (mechanical, electrical, IT, etc.) as well.
Found one for forecasting call center volume...not sure how I feel about it. I feel fairly confident that I have the analytical skills for it but when I read through it I was asking myself in my head, "Do I really want to do this?" and felt that I'd be bored with it. My heart wouldn't be in the job at all. I know I'm being picky. I should probably apply for it even if I hate it because it will provide money until I can find something I like better, provided I have the energy to look after getting home each night and can find a way to duck out for interviews while doing that job.
