The gift-wrap search begins...

I think this year I may want to start working on how I will wrap gifts earlier than when I get gifts.

I know what that means. Size will be an issue. I can creatively work around that. If you are asking how let's harken back to Monty's Python's The Holy Grail [2:32], let's say I had crafted a swallow but the gift could not fit within the swallow. Well, now it would have to become a laden swallow at which point the real question becomes is it a European swallow or an African swallow?

There are two things I need to find:
  1. Wire hangers - to server as a skeletal frame for shapes/objects/creatures/constructs to put the gift inside.
  2. Lots of tissue paper in all colours so I can make birds, peacocks (I know, that's under birds), rainbows, monster trucks, Copenhagen, and anything else that springs to mind as being colourful. I'd be interested to know what size sheets it is available in. I feel like I may have to look for bulk quantities for this kind of art project.
If you have any suggestions about where to get said supplies, especially the tissue paper, please speak up. I'll probably search Craigslist for the hangers.
