This was more fluff than porn really, but it was perfect either way. You're very good at creating an atmosphere in your fic; I almost always get certain feelings while reading your fics, which is awesome ^____^ I'm extremely happy you wrote a lemon too (a semi-lemon?). Though the ending to Dreams & Realities really wouldn't have worked with a more physical ending (heh), I still wanted to read it :) And now I got to! YAY XD

When I saw this posted, at first I thought maybe it was something I'd read of yours already -- and I would have re-read it. But I was extremely excited to see something new~ Thanks for sharing!

I think that's one of the pre-requisits for my stuff to see the light of day. If I can't make people feel something with it, I don't consider it good enough.

Well, I kind of owed this lemon (or semi-lemon) to the readers, since it was pretty mean of me to leave things as they were. But including this in the main story would have spoiled the mood and interrupted the narrative... not to mention that my perky omniscient narrator is much more cruel than Watanuki when evaluating technique and it would have described things as they really were, not as Watanuki perceived them. You see, Watanuki's senses were telling him he was a much better lover than he really was at this point... there is a lot that isn't mentioned. Fortunately, Doumeki didn't care, and he wasn't about to complain when he finally got Watanuki exactly where he wanted him (and it's not as if he knew any better, anyway). ;D

Well, everything you've posted so far has been wonderful and atmospheric. So feel proud! Ah, I can't see Doumeki doing anything with Watanuki unless -- as you put it -- feelings are involved. If Watanuki pushed, Doumeki would do the right thing and probably just leave. To this was wonderful!

LOL Why am I not surprised that Watanuki's sense were telling him he was better than he really was? That's so cute! Ah well, as time goes by the two will learn how things work and they'll get better at it.

Yep. And despite everything Watanuki may have to say about it, there definitely were feelings involved here (though teenage hormones were also very much part of the equation).

But of course, the great Watanuki-sama would think he is able to bring anybody he so desires to the heights of pleasure with barely any effort involved, and now Doumeki should be eternally grateful that he deigned turn his extremely skillful attentions to him. *cough* ...so, yeah. I couldn't let my omniscient narrator loose on him or she would have torn his pride to pieces (for some reason, it seems to speak with a Yuuko's voice in my mind, so it's a "she" for me. XD)

This way, Watanuki was only influenced by his own perspective and how Doumeki reacted, and whatever else he may be, Doumeki is good for the ego. He definitely seems to enjoy anything that comes from Watanuki, after all. ^__-

Ooh, this was nice! There were lots of things I liked about this, and even if it was more fluffy than porny, it was still lovely. I liked so much about this--how passive, in a sense, Doumeki was, and how natural. I liked a lot of the words, the unspoken ones that neither needed to say.

I also loved the nods to the way Doumeki is still irritating, in his usual Doumeki way. And the smirk, and the almost-smile. Very nice.

For some reason I can't write hot, sweaty smex between these two. It's like, with the way things are between them, it feels empty if there isn't at least a moderate amount of feelings involved... somehow I don't think it would only be about the sex if they did end up doing the horizontal tango. Doumeki, at the very least, wouldn't let it be that way.

Darn closet romantics.

Well, I was getting tired of reading Sex God!Doumeki so this Doumeki, while knowing perfectly well what he wants, is happy to pull the strings in the background and let Watanuki do the rest. If you notice, it was actually him who decided when and how things had to happen here, while at the same time not being particularly aggressive about it. That's how I picture Doumeki in bed, actually.

But of course, he wouldn't be Doumeki if he wasn't at least moderately irritating. XD

I sooo wanted to have Doumeki smile... but the guy just doesn't seem to know how. I had to make do with what I could. *sigh*

*snicker* I didn't realize xxxHolic fandom had any closet romantics. Or maybe you meant the characters, in which case, OH YES. Watanuki wouldn't do anything openly romantic if it were for Doumeki on principle, and Doumeki is simply too Doumeki-ish to take it into account.

Also, YES. Doumeki wouldn't be a Sex God, so I loved that he was prodding Watanuki in the right direction. Doumeki isn't aggressive unless he really, really has to be, so this was very nice.

I meant the characters. It'd take inhuman efforts for Watanuki to do something openly romantic towards Doumeki... remember how hard it was for him to thank Doumeki for, oh, you know, simply giving up most of his blood to keep Watanuki alive? (and I loved that Doumeki tried to sneak a peek at Watanuki's face when he did. XD)
And Doumeki... I once read a great one-shot in which he tries, the poor thing, but he doesn't seem built for romantic gestures. The most we can hope from him is being embarrassingly open and direct about his feelings... and then requesting food and/or booze, probably. -_-
(Seriously, Haruka smoked and Doumeki drinks despite being underage... there seems to be too many vices in the Doumeki household for people meant to be priests. O_o)

I'm so happy we agree on that. The lack of proper smexy scenes with that Doumeki present is one of the main reasons I wrote this

Very nice. Soft and gentle but allowing Watanuki's natural irritation to be hiding in the wings. I really love this pair and love the way you did this. ^_^
