Life has been great. Christmas this year was the best in a LONG time! On Christmas Eve we had my fam over, Jason's parents and his Granny and a good friend of ours, Yolanda. We had a great time opening presents, eating a HUGE dinner and hanging out till about midnight. The kids went to bed without a hitch and we did consider that our Christmas Miracle! ( we figured Christmas Eve is the hardest night out of the whole year for bedtime, but our kids rocked it!) Christmas morning was a treat. Emma walked in our room about 7:30 and woke me up and with a sad face told me, "I don't think Santa came." Then I hurried her down the stairs and she screamed. That is the reaction I wanted! With her scream Addy came shooting down the stairs barely having her eyes open! They were totally pumped to find that Santa had taken a bite out of his cookie and Rudolph nibbled on his carrot. They couldn't believe Santa new the exact doll house to buy them..."How did he know we love twins??" Haha, it was great. I finally had to go and wake Elly up at 8:30 so the presents could be ripped into! They loved it! As Addison opened everything she greeted it with, "Awe, how cute!" We died laughing at her! After we opened gifts at our house we went to my parents and the gift opening started all over again!! Then at about 3 we went to J's parents house to do the same, but with about 20 more people! It was wonderful! I never thought having family around and being so busy on Christmas day could be so fun, but it really was! However, Emma was a bit bummed that is wasn't a white Christmas. That evening when Christmas was all wrapped up, we put the girls to bed and listened as they prayed. Emma thanked Jesus for his birthday and all the fun times she had through out the day. She also thanked him for all the gifts she didn't want that she had gotten. Meaning, she go more than she asked for...we snickered! Addison thanked God for Jesus and that Santa found our house. Sweet and cute.
