(no subject)
Just wanted to add some cute things about my kids before I forget them.
1. OK. THe other day while my kids were out playing on our sweet porch I heard a LOUD scream that I knew had to be Emma's. I ran out there and realized that I wanted to scream too, but I stayed calm. THere were 3 salamanders (Spelling??? aka little lizards) running up the side of my house. It was grosser than gross!! As we watch in fear the wild lizards running around on my house Emma noticed down below 4 mushrooms that were very large. Emma loves to see wild mushrooms...we don't know why! Anyway that took the spotlight off the lizards and the mood was changed to peaceful. OK, now on to the cute story. Shorty after the lizard incident we had to go in and eat diner. Emma usually prays. Well this night was no different. Here is how it went, "Dear Jesus, thank you for this food and help the mushrooms grow big and the lizards to go away. In Jesus name I pray, Amen." Short, sweet and to the point! What a doll!
2. Elly has been waking up in the middle of the night SCREAMING!! We have no idea why! I have tried problem solving, diaper change, a drink, hugs, kisses and prayer. Nothing worked until I told her, in my angry MOM voice, "You hush and go to sleep!" SHe rolled over and that was all we heard from here. Could it be that she just needed a reminder about what bedtime is about! What a stinker!
3. Addy now wipes her own butt. Well most of the time. As of last night and this morning I have gotten these excuses as to why she can't wipe her own butt anymore: I am too tired, It is annoying and I am so frustrated! Where does this child come up with these things!
4. We have a new game on our computer and Jason it totally obsessed! LUXOR (msn games) Jason has tried so many times to be a certain levels and can't seem to do it. But last night it hit an all time low! I went to bed early due to a bad headache. HE woke me up at 1am telling me that he didn't beat the level AGAIN and gave me all the excuses as to why he didn't pass it! I replied with an "ooohhhhhhh." And off to Snoozeville USA i returned.
