Tonight's date was great. In fact, we had lost track of time and though we were supposed to meet up with my friends in DC, we ended up just walking and talking in Old Town. He took me to a nice pub and restaurant which I think I'll visit again. The lamb steak was nice.
Since he insisted on paying for the meal, I picked up the tab for ice cream (not exactly equal but...). He ordered for us and was going to pay but I told him it's on me --- I mean, it's the least I can do for a very nice dinner.
It was rather sweet that he didn't drink because he knew I didn't. Especially since he likes his libations. Then, even though he was on call (as a network engineer) and had received an urgent call from a colleague and a call from his boss, he said he would just check the situation at the office before he goes home (his office is in downtown DC and near his place). Plus, he wanted to extend the time on the Flexcar so he called them up and we would have probably stayed out a bit more if the car had not been rented for 12mn (I mean, who rents at a time like that?).
He goes biking regualarly and likes camping and hiking. Looking good so far. He's quite fit but not overly so.
He was very, very nice. Everything was, well, natural. I think I'm off to bed now. :)
