Roses.

I have an English Tea Rose plant that already has 2 buds and one's about to bloom. One asparagus plant, some herbs and veggies and a grape vine. Alas, the strawberry plants look like they're not going to flourish. (And all of the plants are named Mike. *grin*)

There is something about dressing down as soon as I get home and handling dirt in the mini garden on my balcony. I had to repot several plants today and I have to say, even though I've only recently taken up gardening (as in the past year), there is something very, very relaxing about it. My breathing slows, I get into some kind of zone and I feel fulfilled when I see the little shoots coming from the seeds and the cuttings.

I feel accomplished, even though it's mostly nature's work.

I am so excited about the rose plant. I think it's going to bloom in time for my birthday.

P.S. Sabsy, about your question... anything to do with writing/how I can ready a book for publishing/find an agent/get a book published. Otherwise, just come, I miss you.
