I know, I know, media reporting being racist is nothing new. But why are there reports all over that "robbery offences committed by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander juveniles fell 80 per cent between 2008 and 2009", with no mention of crimes being committed by people of any other racial identity? Oh wait, yes there is - "other crime rates fell significantly". Right.
It reads to me like they're trying to make it look like there IS no other kind of criminal in Redfern, and that just plain pisses me off.
