(no subject)
I was very disappointed in the afternoon when I found a tree missing in front of my friend' office in Basavanagudi. I was shocked. Apparently the owner of the building had started some construction work behind the building and since there was no space to get the truck to the site, he just got the 40 yr old tree chopped off. Nothing could have be done too since it was a private land. My friend said that all this had happened over the weekend and they got to see the barren treeless land only on monday morning.
Anyway, in the evening deponti and me just went to Rangashankara just to go and see their 1000th play celebration. It was really nice. They had put a small photo exhibition of their plays too. The crowd had come in early. The entire Rangashankara team also sang a few folk songs and it was great fun. It was really a great moment for all of them.It was really tempting to watch the play today (Pampa Bharata in kannada) but I was very tired and wasn't feeling that well too.

Anyway, the day ended up very nicely. Met up amonks for dinner and it was great fun in the rains.AND I did think of all my rain loving friends ;-)
