“The Ungrateful Man ” and the kids :-)

After a long time, I got to watch a lovely and an enjoyable play at Rangashankara with deponti. The play titled “The Ungrateful Man” which is a tale from the Panchatantra is presented by Bangalore Little Theatre with Dream a Dream and directed by Vijay Padaki is about this brahmin Yagnamurthi who goes to forest in search of money due to the pressure from his wife and the events aftermath. It was simply fantastic.

Well, the words Little and Panchatantra says it all that it is all about the kids. AND believe me ,we were so thrilled to find a huge no of kids seated among the audience too. It was so cute to watch the entire kid community enjoying and cheering the team on stage. The stage was so much lively today with kids dressed as little monkeys jumping over everywhere. They were really enjoying. The script was very interactive. So every dialogue with a question mark had an answer from the little kids seated among the audience and the older ones enjoyed it thoroughly. The costume was excellent. Yove’ve got to get it to the director for such a wonderful effort in making such a play. I am sure it was a great challenge to make a play with lot of kids.I still can’t stop thinking and laughing about it as I am writing.Kudos to the Team “The Ungrateful Man”. The play is on till Sunday at Rangashankara. On sunday there is a matinee show (3.30pm) of the same. Dont miss it.. And if you have little ones at home, make sure you take them.

Ah.. what a lovely evening with deponti and the lively kids :-)
