WoW people, take A FUCKING CHILL PILL. Another stupid American trait that you all expressing here is how personal you take everything. For christs sake, could people be any more sensitive?
6.6 Lol. Hmm. That is true.. well, I am on right now. Bruise from what.. having to whack yourself to ensure that you were actually reading half of what I wrote?
AHAHA Like I read all that? Pshah. Dono, was gonna blame it on being too sensitive to your post, but they have been randomly popping up on me. Oh wells.
You know what...I'm tired of this shit. I'm tired of whenever I state my opinion about somebody's opinion, and I get really passionate, that people say I'm too sensitive and I'm taking everything too personally. If you ask me we need a little more sensitivity in the world. Our whole fucking society is so desensitized to everything I'm surprised most people feel anything at all...stupid American trait...your exact words...calling me stupid...fine, you expect me to be sensitive, to overreact, to be "pissy" fine, you got it.
Fuck you Hope you have a good life being depressed and cynical and hating everybody who has the audacity to argue with your supreme fucking logic.
I think in your brood anger you missed the point of this statement. Simple over reaction. What happened to the times where words were just that, words? They, in reality, don't hurt. Today, were overly concerned with peoples happiness and their "psychological" states to relay the real messages
( ... )
You called me stupid in a passive aggressive way, how is that not "hating on me". And since when were words JUST words. They've always had meaning, always had power, they could ALWAYS hurt. I guess you don't remember grade school and especially middle school. Maybe you had an easier time than me. You didn't have to face people calling you horrible things because you're overweight and have frizzy hair. Words hurt Jake, they always have and they still do. Maybe because you are more mainstream than I am you don't realize the amount of hate words have. I deal with it everyday. Fuck, I'm a bisexual, overweight, pagan, liberal I walk out the door into a world full of people who hate what I am and what I stand for every fucking day. And no matter how strong you are, no matter how much you try to ignore it, words get through and hurt you. People HATE me because I like woman AND men, people HATE me because I don't believe in God, people HATE me for following my heart and being me...it hurts when you are hated for just being yourself.
"They've always had meaning, always had power, they could ALWAYS hurt" This is only partially true. It really depends on the person receiving the "words." I, personally, could care less what people call me, and I don't take offense to nearly anything. I was teased too in school, people thought I was gay when I wasn't (at a time when it was "cool" to tease people about it, not really cool any more, or is it in school.. I have no clue, I got rid of all the high school drama).
Its all in how you take it. If you let words get to you then yes they will hurt, but its your choice to let them hurt, its all in your perceptions.
BTW, I didn't call you stupid, I called the American people stupid as a whole which is different than calling every person that's American stupid.
Naa, people don't "hate" you, they're all jealous of how cool you are and that you are able to be who you want to be.. and they aren't. Try thinking that way for a day... just a day.
Now when it comes to being sensitive, I'm talking about being offended by words. If you get offended, at least in my opinion, there are two reasons why A) You subconsciously think you are in the wrong, B) Don't take the times to really perceive it. Now, let me give my reasoning. If you thought the way you were living your life was fine and acceptable why would one listen to sayings that contradict it? What do I mean... For instance, as Sara said before, she doesn't believe in "American's" traditional god. Now, to me (remind you, I don't know how it is for her, everyone perceives things differently), since I believe she totally believes in it and that it is not wrong to believe in it, anyone's negative words against me would be, as she said "moot." This is where my opinion of over sensitivity has come in. As soon as someone "attacks" us we feel the need to defend ourselves (especially if its physical or attacks something we believe). Now remember from before when I said it, we are all allowed to have our own opinion (also note

I'm gonna get slapped here but I'm gonna say it anyway
Some people need to get LAID!
Just thought I'd break the tension. No single person is going to change the world. All you can do is start w/ the world in your immediate vicinity and try to make it better. Smile more. Sigh and shake your head at idiots that try and "overprotect" everyone and then have rational discussions about how stupid they are about, oh...banning Tom Sawyer or Harry Potter. Educate your own offspring on how stupid some people are and hope that their generation does the same. (btw, there will ALWAYS be idiots, no matter what we try to do to eradicate them)
