Pleased to see LJ hasn't disappeared in the time since I dropped off the face of the earth
Oh my god, guys.
It has been over a year - A YEAR - since I last posted. Now I know that I'm not the most talkative LJer, but that's truly disgraceful. Especially since I'd made the resolution last year to try giving back to fandom like fandom gave to me (in what ways I could, which is basically commenting on every LJ fic I read and doing some beta work).
Here's my excuse: I found AO3. And. Was. Hooked.
Goddamn I love fandom, we(you all) are the best peeps ever. You guys created that shit!
So anyway yeah, I basically completely switched over to AO3, which has been great fic-wise (although I have been missing out on authors I know don't post there yet), but it does mean I kind of fell into a fandom-social black hole. If there is one thing that AO3 is missing it's the ability to do social networking within your fandom, and catch up on all the fandom goss and news.
Like Kindle Worlds?
I bet that's been big news on LJ. And the Teen Wolf fanfic comp? Where's my meta about that?
Also, I found Tumblr yesterday. I love fandom.
