Ibelin jumps at being addressed so suddenly, and looks at Mathieu with wide, unsure eyes. "Y-yes," he stutters. "Just... Just tired."

He drops his gaze, not wanting to look at the other boy.

"Let's go, then," Alejandro says. "We don't want you to be late."

{I used to have the same problem. Eventually I just stopped bringing any money with me to the bookstore so I wouldn't be tempted. :O}

Alejandro squeezes back, watching as the girl picks out a large hat for Mathièu that covers his eyes when he puts it on. "They'll be wonderful," he says softly.
