Beginnings...
December 1st...first goal achieved...new apartment. Not moving in yet...gotta deal with all my stuff in storage...cleaning stuff up...etc. Probably be next weekend...but I got the keys...signed the lease...and I have a place of my own! I LOVE the view (Well, with an apartment building ya can't expect much.) But I can see the ocean(bay), have a really nice sized patio...overlooks the tennis court and golf course!) My bedroom is really nice and big...well, bigger than anything I've ever had. I can put my queen size bed in there, and have like another whole hald of the room to put a lil' love seat or something. I hate the white tile floor, and don't even get me started on the lighting in the bathroom *shudders*. But who the hell cares?! (At least I don't...At least...I keep telling myself I don't):-) However, I gotta admit, I reeeeeeaaaally wonna get all "Nate from Oprah" GAY and paint the walls a deep red or blue or something that makes it looks "alive"...But I don't know...it's not a priority. Maybe I'll save that for when I buy a house...baby steps, ya know. It's just a typical ol' apartment. Nothing to be bragging about. But it's mine. Anyway...it's a beginning...next step...new job! Er...well, before that I guess the next step would be to move all my stuff in...but then after that, NEW JOB, baby!
