Writer's Block: Sounds Good to Me
well when i can't remember what something is called, i'll say doohickey, thingamigig, whatsacallit, hoobergoober....just a few weird things i picked upi from my family when i was younger....better than half the words they use to day. "f" this "f" that...i know someone who uses that word at least 10 times in a 5 minutes converstaion! drives me nuts...no need to say that...maybe i'm just old fashioned and never really use that word...to me it's disrepectful to myself and those i use it around. oh well...
my daughters friend called to ask her to go somewhere the other day, she came and told me that so&so wanted her 'to go with'....i asked her go with what she kept saying they want me to go with....well, that's another word peeve of mine....or the great "my bad" ..ummm your bad what...grammer, english, speaking skills...maybe bad manners?
seems i got off the track about the whatchamacallit's and thingamabob's...most often i wind up talking and doing a bit of charades to get people to know what i'm trying to say...oh my brain is not againg well it seems!
