Hallelujah!
FREEDOM!!!! my legs are finally free!!!! i went this afternoon to get the bandages off and those very uncomfortable hose taken off. when the hose came off, it was like my skin was missing something...they felt like they were feathers!
i have about 6 or 7 little 1/4" cuts up and down the vein and lots of needle marks from the injections. my sister and mom said with me being that bruised (from thigh to midcalf) they hope the other guy looks worse!
i took a long hot shower, washed the hose and am sitting with "naked legs" lol my daughter puts her hand up so she can't see the bruises when she looks at me. i have put so much dry skin lotion on my legs (avoiding the little cuts...afraid to put it on those) that they are shiny....
the bad part is i have to put them back on starting tomorrow morning until i go to bed everyday until i go see the doctor again in 3 weeks. i'm about to cut the right leg off the hose and if it rolls down a bit, it rolls...i can pull it up. least i can get back to showers everyday with no plastic bag on one leg.
and he had the nerve to ask if i was ready to do the other leg yet! i told the nurse that i wanted to change the poster for the EVLT....where it says no pain involved i want to write "don't fall for the no pain claim!" lol
gee i have to put them on in the morning, it takes me about 45 min to an hour to put on, and i have an 8 am appointment in the morning....hmmm...ain't gonna happen...may have my sister take britt to the counselor in the morning....
other than that exciting news, nothing much is going on...same ol' boring life....trying to find where to get a verizon prepaid phone card for my daughter's phone the place i saw in the phonje book was not where it was supposed to be! ugghhh!
last week i finally ordered my daughter a horse bedding set. the comforter and sheets andvalences for the curtains since she has shades up...supposed to come tomorrow so i hope i can get it on and looking good when she comes home. if i would let her she would have a real horse in the room...hopefully she can find one of the stables around here to take a chance and hire her to work there...she knows more about horses than our neighbor who has a horse....she can see a horse and know what kind it is...to me they are all horses and i know a clydesdale and painted on sight....she knows all of them!
my sister is taking britt to 2 parades on ther westbank saturday...my mom is going to stay at her "friends" house this weekend...peace and quiet all day saturday!
well sorry this is long and hope no one gets a sick stomach...lol.
now i have to go lay down in a bit as my back meds are kicking in.
