i felt like a snake shedding my skin...
well i went this morning to get those hose and the lady helps show you how to put them on...lordy have mercy! those things you need rubber gloves to get them on (think like the playtex yellow cleaning gloves) and they are tight!!!! it took almost 45 minutes for her and me to put them on!!! by myself it would probably take an hour or two :o)
i got out of breath trying to get them on and had to use my inhaler twice, then when i turned to try to get them from another angle, my back popped! then since i had to still go to the grocery i told her i was taking them off...she was surprised i would take them off after getting them on...told her i don't want to walk around feeling constricted like that...i felt like a snake shedding my skin taking them off! :o(bad enough i'll be in them for a week. if i can take a shower after it's done and they're on, i'll just wash them in the shower and roll around in a big towel to dry them (like a wet dog in the grass)! :o) lol i'm glad it's the doctor and the nurse(s) have to put them on me after the procedure! they'll only be used twice, tomorrow and in about 3 weeks for the other leg. I'll stick to my no nonsense light support hose if i need them...a whole lot easier to get on and off!
gotta go eat and get my clothes ready for tomorrow...hopefully i can get back here tomorrow night or friday....see y'all then!
