I do hope that everyone is all right. It seems as if those who have died are back. Does that usually happen when someone dies? I thought that they went to a place called Avalon. How is it that those people hurt suddenly feel better? Who made them feel better? Is it magic? Science?
What exactly is Mayfield? It does not seem like an ordinary town... People live on the surface by the hundreds, and there are no beastmen or ganmen to beat them back. Why is that? Why do the moon and the stars hang so high in the sky? Are my friends seeing the same sky? ...Are they all right? I have so many questions.

I miss them so much, everyone from the Dai-Gurren Brigade. Everything was so lively there, and while we had our worries, they were far from the ones that I have here. Simon watched over all of us, and I knew that as long as he was there, everything would turn out for the better. I.. am not so sure anymore. I could not protect him as he did me. I thought that I lost him again, although knowing that he is alive... ...I do not know how to think or feel. What if he is taken again? What if we can not find our way home?

I know that I am feeling better, but... ...would you mind terribly if I stayed for a few more days? I would not want to impose, but... I do not feel right going back to my house just yet. I appreciate all that you, Mister Gohan and Miss Yuno have done for me, and I feel as if I should do something in return. Is there anything that I can do to repay the favor?
