Is there an Ann Arbor-area bike charity?
Somebody put an old Schwinn Varsity out by the dumpster behind my apartment building a few weeks ago, and I'm feeling sorry for it, but I'm also in no position to take in strays. Is there any local equivalent to Bikes Not Bombs or the Yellow Bike Project? The Schwinn needs some work -- probably a complete overhaul -- but those frames are supposed to last forever and it'd be a shame for one to end up in a landfill.
